At Children's Home of Cambodia we currently have sixty children aged in between 3 to 16 years old. The kids are full of life, they like drawing, watching movies and playing games. When you come to help us, you will find yourself helping the kids to read, write,teach them the alphabet and be part of many other educational activities. We are really open minded and are happy to hear your ideas to improve the centre. We also highly encourage any volunteer to contribue into school supplies f they can. Everything here runs with donations so anything will really help.

When you come volunteer for us, we ask you a little amount each day to cover the meals and accomodation we provide you. The money you give doesn't only cover for you but also covers some cost for the building rental, the food we provide to the kids, the school furnitures and helps improving the centre to create an adequate educational environment. A typical week at B.C.H.C consist of teaching two hours in the morning (8am to 10am) and two hours in the afternoon (2pm to 4pm), Monday to Friday. There's also some days where we are able to do some activities outside the school like going out to the football park, environmental caring activity by picking up rubish in the streets and many other educational activities.

On your free time, you are free to go discover the surroundings, there is a local market near by where you can experience real local food and the city centre is easily accessible with short trip in tuk tuk. The staff at the school will also be able to give you great recommendations on what to do and see in the area.
